Week 18 was my last full week of training before Marathon #2, and it was good!
Technically, I ran 4 days, but only got 1 strength training session in, but I also did some IT band exercises on Friday and worked an event on Saturday afternoon that involved a LOT of heavy lifting, and PRed huuuuuuge in a 5k, so I’m feeling good about the week.
- Monday: Rest!
- Tuesday: 6 miles @ 9:55
- Wednesday:60 minute strength
- Thursday: 5 miles @ 10:16
- Friday: ITB exercises
- Saturday: Dublin Sells 5k! @ 7:54, .5 mile warm-up
- Sunday: 10.5 miles @ 11:57
Weekly Running Total: 25 miles
Now it’s time to rest up, eat well, hydrate, and think happy thoughts – Flying Pig, here I come!
